What if we had the power and the ability to live our lives in a continuous state of curiosity, fascination, discovery, and wonder? How might that make a difference in our experience of ourselves and our relationships with others in the world at large?

Greetings, once again, to all our highly valued clients and respected colleagues:

Welcome to December. Season’s Greetings to you and all those you love the most.

As we enter the final weeks of 2023 and the whitewater rush of the holidays, I want to encourage us all to invest time to RETREAT, RENEW AND RE ENGAGE.

December can be incredibly frantic, and it doesn’t have to be. Study after study has shown people feel like they have less time, more responsibilities, and higher expectations during this time of the year, all contributing to holiday stress. For many, the coldest season of the year isn’t very “chill”. It feels like a battle with the season of depression. I suggest that this doesn’t have to be so mentally fatiguing.

I want to offer a few resources with ideas that may help to keep it to a minimum.

How to Overcome Holiday Overwhelm

Trade overwhelm for joy with these simple and practical strategies.

As we reflect on our year to date and think ahead for 2024, you may consider:

Lastly, I want to pass on a worthy, recently published video (47 mins that I listened to twice) from New York Times author, columnist, and political and cultural commentator David Brooks, titled What Does It Mean to Be a Better Person?”

One of our friends brought it to my attention with this note: “This is a very interesting lecture, funny and insightful. The new book he talks about is now out.”

Given I actively seek and celebrate any wisdom delivered with humor, I was all in.
