The non-renewable resource that time is and how to make the most of it

“Good is the enemy of great. And that is one of the key reasons why we have so little that becomes great…Few people attain great lives, in large part because it is just so easy to settle for a good life.”

Stephen Covey Put First Things First Big Rocks 4 minutes 2 seconds
To all our highly valued clients and acquaintances:

People sometimes say “You look really busy” That scares me a bit. I’m not concerned about being busy – I am concerned about energized, effective, relevant, productive and as happy as possible. We can’t do everything and do it all well – something’s got to give – there’s no time for everything – we’re not about lots of activity – we’re about desired outcomes, period.

And when it comes to getting things done…

It’s not how much time we put in – it’s what we put into our time that counts.

Years ago, after the 2008 financial crash, many people I coached were beside themselves with all the confusion, the sudden changes, the massive impact, the challenge of getting their priorities straight and staying focused.

After multiple conversations within a few weeks, I put together this 1 pager:

Don’s Five Fundamental Time Use Practices to Master

My intent remains to this day, regardless of circumstances, is to help us all get serious and focused about our use of time and life – make our work as fascinating and fun as possible – take time for relaxing, chillaxing and being free. Be teeming with life – energized by progress – suit up and show up for fulfilling effectiveness – refuel your inspirational tank – find others who care.
