To all our highly valued clients and acquaintances:
Over the last few weeks, I’ve been on a “listening tour”, visiting people in multiple locations throughout the greater southwest and “seeking first to understand”, to see what I could see and to hear whatever I could hear.
I received a multiple of updates and perspectives from professional and seasoned people about how their year, their businesses and their lives are going at this point, what they have been able to pull off, what lessons they have learned along the way and what they are looking at for their future in a mid-year where we all seem to have cornucopia of dynamic developments and activities in the midst of a dramatic and extremely event filled world.
As my colleagues say: ‘This is what life looks like when it is working.’
This 2026 midyear seems to be a midyear like no other, to say the least.
Which brings certain topics to mind for me, in my conversations with others:
I ask myself, do I have issues or do they have me? We all got issues, yes?
I’m here to help you seek out possibilities you may not currently see.
Are you as future focused and solution focused as you want or need to be?
Yesterday’s problems are not as important as your future relevance and the value that you can now generate/contribute. Are your creative imagination muscles as toned up and active as they could be, to keep on innovating?
Oftentimes, it’s best start small to go big – get our models and prototypes working great. We can focus on what we can control, consistent with our most empowering personal vision, core values and priorities, and with confidence, work vigorously to meet or exceed our highest expectations.
This timely sentiment reminds me of lyrics from Gregg Allman’s song from The Allman Brothers Band‘s self-titled debut album released in 1969.
“Pull myself together,
Put on a new face,
Climb down off the hilltop, baby,
Get back in the race.”
What would be your most fulfilling way to live and work right now?
Not only what you got to do, but also what you could get to do? How can you turn all your complexities into simplicities – to see your way forward?
When I asked people how they most benefited from our time together, I was reminded of what it takes to successfully put together a jigsaw puzzle.
We started by generating a comprehensive picture for their future and then determined/executed all the critical action steps required to bring it to life.
Like Michealangelo’s statue of David, we eliminated everything ‘not David’.
Don’t let small thinking lead you to extremely challenging big problems. You can be Living Your Legacy as your Way of Being and a place to come from, not a place to get to. You can be a generator of unprecedented possibilities and airtight actions, inside of your whole life and whole person’s approach.
A few questions for you to consider, for the days and weeks ahead:
- What are you most grateful for? Most excited about and committed to?
- What’s taking longer than you expected? What needs to be simplified?
- How can you reduce labor intensity? What will you reconcile/get past?
- What will keep your energy up? How are you managing to do that?
- Where will you keep generating value? How will you celebrate?
Are You Currently & Consistently Working with a Committed Listener?
(aka a person you trust to hold you to account to what you say you want)
Most of us are terrible at holding ourselves to account. How’s yours going?
To have a coach or not to have a coach – is that a question??
We are here to help you strengthen your focus to precede your successes.
My “listening tour” will be continuing into July and beyond. Given our relationship, what would you most like to talk about and what would serve you best? Are you betting on yourself and creating in the face of any odds?
I’ve Got a Talking Stick & I’m Not Afraid to Use It.
It is here, for the asking. You talk and I listen.

PS – The Difference Maker: Strategy vs. Execution
Reflecting on the past six months is essential, but momentum is sustained by what is currently on your radar.
When I partner with entrepreneurs to double or triple their production, we don’t just hope for a strong finish – we engineer it. A banner finish requires shifting from defense to offense. It means identifying the exact bottlenecks holding your business back and ruthlessly prioritizing the activities that drive actual profitability.
To ensure your second half of 2026 is a massive success, ask yourself these three critical questions:
- What needs to be eliminated? What projects or habits controlled your time in the first half without delivering concrete results?
- Where is the leverage? What is the one major business development goal that will automatically fix minor issues once achieved?
- Who is holding you accountable? High performers rarely achieve extraordinary growth in isolation. They use structure to stay on track.
If you are ready to break through a production plateau and take total control of your business growth for the rest of the year, let’s talk.
